Yes. Payment is processed by Apple Pay or Google Pay, which never share your card number with the merchant and require biometric authorisation for every transaction. Always check that the QR code is on official signage and that the page opens on impacton.co.za before tapping pay.

No. Donors simply scan the QR code with their phone camera. There is no app to download, no account to create, and no card details to type.

Apple Pay and Google Pay. Both work on any modern phone and authenticate every donation with your fingerprint, Face ID, or PIN.

Funds are collected centrally by Impact On (a registered NGO in South Africa) and paid out to the project you donated to on a regular schedule, with a full audit trail.

Apply through our For Organisations page. The application takes about two minutes; once approved we send you your QR code and printable signage.

Donations collect centrally and pay out to each project on a regular schedule. Every payout includes a line-by-line breakdown of the donations behind it.

Impact On maintains a 95% donation policy — 95% of every donation goes directly to the project. The remaining 5% covers payment processing and operations. Donors can also choose to cover the admin and bank fees, which means 100% of their gift reaches the project.

Cafés, gyms, schools, religious institutes, sports clubs, community centres, and registered NGOs can all apply. You don't need NPO status to host a project — you do need a legitimate, named cause.

Once your project is approved, we email you a printable A4 QR poster and a PNG version for digital use. You can also generate poster artwork on demand from your admin dashboard.
